The Power of Words

As we approach 2023, it is time to turn the negative power of words into positive words!





Some of us have the bad tendency to repeatedly utilize the same unfavorable phrases. The issue is that a word or phrase has more influence over us the more times we hear, read, or use it. You may start to see how your internal messaging creates a false self-image by counting how many times you've labeled yourself dumb, unattractive, or anything else.


​​Words have great power. They have an effect on you and other people whether you write them or say them. They exchange knowledge and communicate their emotions. They have the power to radically alter someone's mood.

How can we change that? Here are three tips:



1. No Name-Calling or Self-Criticism.


Everyone, including you, is making the best effort they can with the consciousness they have available at any given time. Be kind to yourself and show yourself the same compassion and empathy that you would show to anybody else.



2. Stop putting yourself down


Never make bad jokes about your accomplishments, goals, or especially your body in your life. Saying phrases like "I don't deserve it", "I'm too thin/too fat", and "I hate the way I look" will only bring you down. Your self-confidence will not thank you. Try phrases like " I worked hard for it and that's why I deserve it!", "I'm not too skinny or too fat - I'm perfect the way I am" and "I love the way I look, thank you body for all you do for me!"

And to bring this to number 3.



3. Surround yourself with phrases that will make you feel good.


Affirmations that are positive about you, your family, or your aspirations should be posted on sticky notes and placed throughout your house and business. Wear clothing with inspiring words or sentiments on it. When you choose to remain optimistic throughout the day, consider the sort of energy you will be producing for yourself. As you continue to practice these things, you extremely effectively leverage the power of repetition to your advantage. One of the easiest ways to influence the energy you bring into your life is by choosing your words carefully. You have the ability to transform your reality.



Although words have great power, don't anticipate miracles. When new techniques are absorbed and used, new habits are created. It takes time and effort to change. Before you can include constructive self-talk in your everyday activities, you must first acquire awareness. You can be kind or harsh to yourself depending on the words you choose.


Be gentle to yourself, you deserve it!
